And the award for the most boring week since I operate this little blog goes to... Week 39! Only 2 signals were triggered:

As usual the weather backcast contains the ichimoku analysis of 22 indices, futures and FOREX pairs. The linked charts contain all the details and neccessary context. Both charts and tables are generated automatically, at the moment the software is still work in progress. As such, I am not sure if it works 100% correctly, so if you see a mistake, would like to see an addition/change or simply give feedback: feel free to mail me at This email address is being protected from spambots. If you would like to play around with the system that is used to generate the signals and charts on this blog, you can do so! The latest version of my software, ichinscratchy v0.2.1, was released in April 2017. It´s free & open source, you can find it under http://spare-time-trading.de/en/trading-system. Development on the upcoming v0.3 version is going on since then, with it come exciting new features as real money management, market regime filters and much more. "..but remember to come back in September". Looks like there is a grain of thruth there, at least signal-wise. Alltogether, 28 STRONG signals were triggered last week. Because I am a pretty lazy efficient ok lazy guy, I won't type that into this blog entry manually. Instead I c&p a dump directly from the database below.

The Ichimoku system generated eleven new strong signals today (daily timeframe):

  • Cotton long
  • 2x DJ Transportation Index long
  • Eurostoxx long
  • Hang Seng long
  • Nikkei long
  • 2x Silver long
  • SMI long
  • Soy short
  • WTI long

For details of the generated system see output below. Unfortunately my data fetching scripts have a hickup again, so there is no data for BuFu, Orange Juice, Palladium, Sugar, Cocoa, Copper :(

The trading system used is currently under heavy development, the signal generation already works and is considered stable (see weekly ichimoku analysis).

The Ichimoku system generated three new strong signals today (daily timeframe):

2x Euro Bund Future Short: Senkou Cross; Tenkan/Kijun Cross Death X at 164.18  and

Swiss Market Index Long: Kijun Cross  Golden X at 8237.54.

The trading system used is currently under heavy development, the signal generation already works and is considered stable (see weekly ichimoku analysis).

The Ichimoku system generated two new strong long signals today (daily timeframe):

Euro Stoxx 50: Kumo breakout from rising Kumo at 2970.11 and

the Chinese Hang Seng index: Kijun Cross Golden X at 23550.40

The trading system used is currently under heavy development, the signal generation already works and is considered stable (see weekly ichimoku analysis).

The weather backcast for the 37th week of the year. Somewhat delayed, my data fetching scripts do not work properly at the moment. Maybe I should have a look for another data provider...
