Again, a pretty quiet week. Out of 22 markets withing the current investment universe only 3 triggered signals:

In total 7 signals, all commodities, all short. Is this the calm before the storm?

As usual the weather backcast contains the ichimoku analysis of 22 indices, futures and FOREX pairs. The linked charts contain all the details and neccessary context. Both charts and tables are generated automatically, at the moment the software is still work in progress. As such, I am not sure if it works 100% correctly, so if you see a mistake, would like to see an addition/change or simply give feedback: feel free to mail me at This email address is being protected from spambots. And again a pretty quiet week. Usually many people are frightened of volatility- but with a lack of volatility there is no movement. No movement = bad for trend following systems. However, today 2 new signals were triggered:

Long time since the last daily signal blogpost, but as promised here is the first one of this week (of my investing universe, see weekly ichimoku overview what is included). Today Crude Oil Futures (http://www.investing.com/commodities/crude-oil) triggered a short signal.

I am back from my trip now, so you can expect a little more live on the blog throughout the week. Last week was a relatively quiet one, with 8 signals in 5 different markets. DJ Transportation Index left its sideways range and looks pretty bearish at the moment. Usually it is said to be a kind of leading indicator for the major indices, let´s wait and see. As good trendfollowers we have no opinion which way markets should go :) The signals occured in the following markets:

Still on a business trip (and suffering froma severe headache- thx to the Liverpool nightlife). Meanwhile, during last week a  lot happened signal wise: 11 signals in 9 different markets were triggered. Most indices are still bullish- with the single and interesting exception of the Dow Jones Transportation Average Index. Which is said to be some kind of leading indicator for the others. Interesting times ahead (as always ;)). The signals occured in the following markets:

Sell in May?
